STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION ๐Ÿ”น Step 1: Layout Planning Visualize your plant row: Since plants are in 1 line, plan to run the main flexible hose straight along the base of the plants. Place emitters (drippers) near each plant root (around 15โ€“30 cm from trunk). ๐Ÿ”น Step 2: Connecting Timer Attach Timer to Tap: Screw the auto timer directly onto your tap. Use Teflon tape to prevent leaks. Connect Hose to Timer: Connect the flexible hose to the timer outlet. Use hose clamps if provided. ๐Ÿ”น Step 3: Installing Drip Emitters Cut small holes in the hose (only where needed). Push drip emitters or connectors into the holes. If hard to insert: Soak hose end in warm water for 10โ€“20 seconds. Make sure each plant gets at least one emitter near its base. ๐Ÿ”น Step 4: Securing the Hose Run the hose along the row of plants. Use clips, zip ties, or small stakes to secure the hose so it doesnโ€™t move or kink. Add end cap or loop the end of the hose to close it. ๐Ÿ”น Step 5: Programming the Timer Open the timer battery cover (usually AAA batteries). Set: Watering time (e.g. 10 minutes) Frequency (e.g. every day at 7 AM) Test run by pressing โ€œManualโ€ to ensure water flows through the emitters. ๐ŸŒ€ HOW IT WORKS (MECHANISM) Timer activates โ†’ At set time (e.g. 7 AM), water starts flowing. Water flows into flexible hose โ†’ Pressure pushes water to each emitter. Drippers slowly release water โ†’ Water soaks the base of each plant gently. Timer closes valve โ†’ Stops water flow after set duration (e.g. 10 mins). Plants get consistent water without staff needing to open tap daily.
